A year later.. an updated journal. I have been here and there quietly doing this and that. I am in the process of cleaning up my gallery and stock ready for new works. I don't like looking at my older efforts really. I am more active on the dreaded facebook so look me up Cheryl Fox-Harbour if you haven't already. Be prepared though I love nothing more than sharing photos of my family. I have 3 photomanipulations to upload plus a heap of crochet and knits and maybe stock. Just getting to it Big congratulations to UnicornReality who is now a Mrs

So here I am back from the epic that is the London Devmeet. Well OK I got back 8pm saturday night, but you know me journals don't happen on cue...
So my reports of the day.
Woke up at 7ish, stomach ache.. Very excited about the whole meet... I am finally going to meet some of the people I have been chatting to on here for years! Having prepared our bags and baby stuffs the night before, we had a relatively easy walk up to the train station.. Oh pap.. Marylebone station is closed all weekend. -flail- So we get off at Ruislip and have to work out a new route. I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea how disabled people or people with young children travel in london.. Seriously.. No lifts, Ben and I did the two man buggy lift up and down stairs and put the buggy on escalators.
Got to Kensington Gardens around 11ish and walked over to Hyde Park. There was a few Deviant's there already!! YAY! I met a nice fellow and his friend who gave us awesome DA sharpies. They go by the DA name of UncleWoodstock and Phyonix Very friendly people indeed and a lot of fun. The both did a great job rallying the masses. I then started chatting to GatoIshwary who had a rather nice self designed tshirt on. My son proceeded to chew her ear off about pokemon. Bryan tried to steal the creeper plushie and Ben was eyeing up some wire work and I was introduced to a lady called Twimper She was making scoobies. Conversation turned to DD's and a friendly guy came over and said 'I sometimes feature them'. I look at his name badge and misread it... Had to ask him his username..Felt like an idiot! Turned out to be sine-out soon after Narfmaster joined us and then dxd turned up.. I said to him 'I watch you....oh god I feel like a stalker now' I really oughta work on my social skills >.> Sat down and crocheted a bit.. Then tended to baby Freya. Got a free lanyard and then got accosted by Dan-Heffer and then I met Elandria
The group photo was organised, which was taken by the brilliant Narfmaster I am in the top left in the pink top.
We was then lead away to deviousness... I mean to the grassy areas for picnics and shenanigans. Heidi came round with cute ickle cupcakes with green icing... They were yummy! Ben and I had a moment where we couldn't decide which art group to sit with.. After all I dabble in many art types.. We wanted to sit with artisan crafters (no such group) but decided on photography as we both shoot stock. I wished I mingled more.. Which was exactly what NeoStockz was doing. My son rather liked his awesome mask. I met lusete and her gorgeous daughters arianahousdenLeksi-Knight Elandria's other half ReapingFields and Quoth-RavenBeccaJS popped over looking very glowy with motherhood-to-be armed with houmous and carrot sticks... A big hit after the many naughty treats in circulation!! Not so much the houmous though ^^. We spoke of the 50 shades books.. which I am a self confessed fan of.. Not because of the twilight thing nor the writing..because lets face it, the books are pretty shit really. I just like smut We were then joined by Pixel-Spotlight and had some photos taken. We recieved some DA stress balls and I took stock of Bryan and some photos of other people. Unfortunately, due to the sun (we are all sunburnt - not baby though she was shaded) and Freya developing hayfever. We had to leave.. It was a brill day and it was lovely to meet you all!
